This table was my sister’s wedding gift from me, I designed and built it as a complete surprise.
With rounded edges and tappered legs for the lightweight look, the table is designed to be assembled at destination if needed.
Since I enjoy combining woods, I chose incienso for the structure and white oak for the top.
Incienso (Argentina) or cabreúva (Brasil), is a South American native hardwood, very appreciated for it’s beauty, scent and hardness, which makes it a highly durable hardwood.
Built with mortise and tennon joinery between legs and end aprons and tight half laps on long aprons for sturdyness.
