Industrial designer and passionate woodworker. Over the last ten years I have grown from building hardwood furniture into managing a woodshop and designing bespoke products.

Started as a solid wood woodworker of bespoke furniture. After the first year I became the woodshop manager and got in charge of hardwood selection as well as managing tasks to reach deadlines. By 2022 I had taken some sales responsibilities which came with CAD and 3D modeling for clients and production purposes. For the last couple of years I took over sales and dived into general management too. This professional growth drifted me away from the woodshop during my working hours, but I kept developing my own freelance designs in my spare time since woodworking has always been my passion.
Sur del Cruz | 2014-2018 | Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina
This was my first experience at a woodshop. My now friend and owner of the studio, Loli Mallea, hired me part-time as an industrial design student who wanted to learn about the craft. During my days at Sur del Cruz my tasks were mainly cleaning reclaimed wood, assembling and finishing furniture and assisting with installations. The rich lessons I learnt about work ethic, teamwork and the pursuit of excellence go way beyond woodworking and fired up my desire to learn more about it.
Uhuru Design | 2018 | Brooklyn, New York, USA
Through my previously mentioned friend, Loli Mallea, I got in contact with Jim Horvath and Bill Hilgendorf, Uhuru Design co-owners, and asked for an intern position. At the beginning of the two-month internship I got an insight into Bill’s concepts from his notebook and spent my time at the woodshop prototyping and experimenting mostly with reclaimed material from the Hudson river and scraps from the metalshop. After a couple of weeks I started assisting with installations and deliveries, along with damaged furniture repair and restoration.
